The Large Rolled Lava Stones from Fire by Design are an excellent base layer and cost-effective filler for gas fire pits and fireplaces. Fire glass, ceramic balls, and other decorative fire pit products can be added on top of the fire rock for effect. If you like the look of these angular lava rocks alone, they’re an affordable way to fill a fireplace.

These also look great as decorative accents on planters, gardens and pots.

Beautifull looking and realistic fireplace

Fireplace looks great. it has a realistic flame and the features on the remote are nice. I like that I am able to control the speed of the flame and diming. Excellent fireplace overall and great service.

Love the fire pit

The design and color are beautiful, and with its large size, it look great in our backyard. Even the manner in which they packaged the product for shipping is outstanding. The simplicity of setup and hookup is well thought out. I can't recommend it enough!

Good Product!

It is awesome , love the color changes and the flames kind of look like real fire - more than other brands. Creates a nice ambiance. I agree with others that the alternative remote is better than the one that comes with it - more user friendly. I bought it because we thought we lost the original remote. Trim kit has no instructions and is tricky to put together, but very nice when you figure it out.

I have done loads of rebuilding of houses previously so I was very hesitant to go electric on this last house I was doing yet in the end I'm very happy... it was basic and simple and it really looks very nice.

Beautiful and realistic fireplace

We love how the fireplace looks in our family room; it's beautiful. The fireplace appears incredibly realistic thanks to the wood accents, rocks, crystals, and flames. We live in Southern California, so the installation in May prevented us from using it for heat, which is the only reason I gave it a 4-star rating. We are aware that it functions, but since we purchased a 1000 btu unit, we are unsure if the fireplace will sufficiently heat the entire space. Will publish a follow-up after we test it this winter. received numerous excellent reviews from friends and family.
